Samari Sams

There's a restaurant in the building where I work named Samurai Sam's. I really like eating there but it's kind of expensive. The last few times I've eaten there, I've ordered the kids bowl. What's bad is when the restaurant employees see me, they start saying real loud, "kids bowl guy" then everyone laughs. I think I'm going to start taking a lunch.

Dress for Success

Today was a good day at work. I got an order from a company located right down the street. My boss told me that nobody else got any further than the receptionist up front. I really think you have to dress for success. If you look good, you're going to carry yourself better and act like you know what you're doing even if you don't. That's why I started wearing these nice Calvin Klein Jeans from Costco and good-looking golf shirts. It really makes a difference!

Started a new calling today!

Today was the first day of my new calling in church. I am the new membership clerk of our ward. Last Wednesday I recieved training for this position. They said your job is like painting the Golden Gate Bridge. You'll never finish it. That sounded encouraging. As the membership clerk I report to the ward clerk. I introduced myself to him today and told him I was ready to get started. He told me you don't have much to do... maybe fifteen minutes a week. He missed the training on Wednesday.
